"The most important factor in healing is being truly heard."

I am a Person-Centred counsellor with a professional background shaped by 16 years in the education sector, specifically supporting children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. My experience also extends to Cancer Support Yorkshire, where I have provided a compassionate anchor for individuals and families navigating the complexities of a diagnosis.

How I Work

I am a Person-Centred counsellor with a professional background shaped by 16 years in the education sector, specifically supporting children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. My experience also extends to Cancer Support Yorkshire, where I have provided a compassionate anchor for individuals and families navigating the complexities of a diagnosis.

Areas of Support
While I have deep roots in school-based support and cancer care, I work with adults and young people on a wide range of life challenges, including:

Anxiety & Depression: Navigating the weight of low mood and stress.

Cancer Journeys: Support for patients, survivors, and loved ones.

Education & SEMH: Helping young people find their voice and build resilience.

Grief & Loss: Processing bereavement or significant life transitions.

Self-Esteem: Moving through feelings of being "stuck" or unheard.

Whether you are facing a specific crisis or simply need a safe space to process the "everyday" weight of life, I am here to walk alongside you.

My approach is grounded in empathy, warmth, and a total lack of judgment. I don’t aim to "fix" you; instead, I believe you are the expert on your own life. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore your feelings at your own pace.
