Kayleigh Fletcher -

Humanistic and  Integrative Counsellor | Men’s Mental Health Specialist | Trauma-
Informed Practitioner

About Me:

Hi, I’m Kayleigh. My counselling philosophy is simple: Where Trust Meets Healing. I believe that real change begins in a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
Life hasn’t always been straightforward for me, and I know first-hand what it means to face challenges and make changes, that’s why I offer a safe, confidential and supportive space where people can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Counselling, to me, is about building trust and working together at a pace that feels right for you. My counselling style is grounded in a humanistic and integrative approach, meaning I draw from different models of therapy but always with you, the client, at the centre of the work. I believe that every person has the capacity to grow and heal when they are truly heard and supported.

My counselling journey has given me the privilege of working with a wide range of people. I’ve spent time supporting men in prison, both those sentenced and those awaiting sentencing — often working through the grief of losing their freedom and the consequences of their actions, and beginning to make sense of their future.
I’ve also worked within probation services, where I supported men separated from their children due to violence at home, helping them explore emotions and develop healthier coping strategies.

Beyond this, I’ve facilitated group work in the West Midlands with children and families affected by knife crime. Together we explored themes of grief, loss, and the unique pressures faced by younger generations today.
I’ve also worked with both victims and perpetrators of sexual offences, offering a safe, compassionate space to address complex emotions, behaviours, and recovery.

Alongside this, I have extensive experience supporting people within the sex industry —including sex workers, online adult workers, those who have been groomed, as well as people navigating fetishes or compulsive sexual behaviours who may have been stigmatised or feel the weight of a hidden truth.
These experiences have shaped me into a counsellor who values honesty, trust, and the belief that no story is “too much.” My approach is warm, humanistic, and down to earth. I won’t judge your past, your choices, or your struggles — instead, I’ll walk alongside you as you explore them.
Alongside this, I have supported clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, identity issues, relationship difficulties, and the everyday struggles that life can bring.

Outside of counselling, I enjoy slower-paced days with my dog, or spending time in my
garden – my newest passion. For me, gardening is a reminder of growth and patience: that with care and the right conditions, we can all move through difficult seasons and flourish
again. If you are considering counselling, know that it is a brave step to reach out. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, offering a space where you feel valued, heard, and supported in finding your own way forward.
