Richard Pierce

BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist

I understand what it feels like to reach a breaking point. In my 40s, while juggling a high-pressure HR Director role and caring for my father with dementia, I experienced burnout and depression.

That personal journey led me to therapy—and eventually to becoming the therapist I needed back then.

With over 20 years in senior HR roles before retraining as a psychotherapist, I bring both professional insight and lived experience to our work together.

I know the weight of impossible expectations, the struggle to balance work and life, and what it takes to ask for help when you're used to handling everything alone.

My approach is refreshingly real. No jargon, no judgment—just genuine conversation in a space where you can be completely yourself. Whether you're dealing with workplace stress, family pressures, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to walk alongside you at your own pace.
