Suzy Daly - Humanistic Counsellor

Are you or your child feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or struggling to navigate
difficult experiences? Perhaps school, friendships, family life or personal pressures
are becoming hard to manage, or you are an adult feeling stuck, uncertain, or
carrying emotional burdens alone.
You don’t have to manage these challenges alone. Therapy can provide a private,
reflective space to help you make sense of what is happening and explore practical
and emotional ways forward.
I am a compassionate and dedicated counsellor offering in-person sessions at
Bingley Counselling Centre I work with clients of all ages, with a specialist focus on
supporting children, teenagers and young adults experiencing emotional,
behavioural and developmental challenges.
I support clients experiencing ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, anxiety,
depression, bereavement and loss, trauma responses, self-harm, suicidal thoughts,
low self-worth, identity exploration, and life transitions. I also have experience
supporting young people and adults within the LGBTQ+ community, providing an
affirming and inclusive therapeutic space.
My approach is calm, relational and person-centred, helping clients feel emotionally
grounded while working through what feels difficult. I support clients during periods
of distress while helping them develop insight, confidence and practical coping
strategies. Alongside this, I recognise the importance of creativity, humour and
meaningful connection within the therapeutic process.
Through my experience working in schools, community organisations and
therapeutic services across North and West Yorkshire, I have developed a strong
understanding of the emotional and social pressures children, young people and
adults can face. My aim is to help clients build resilience, strengthen emotional
independence, and move forward with greater clarity and self-understanding.
If you feel ready to begin therapy, please get in touch to arrange an initial session or
to discuss how I may be able to support you.
