Chris Mitchell Life Coach
Hello, I'm Chris, a specialist ADHD coach & mentor based in Bingley and I'm here to help adults with ADHD to thrive.
I’m on a mission to help individuals and working professionals turn what makes them unique into their competitive advantage. I’ll help you gain clarity on how you’re wired, drop the mask and silence the inner critic so you can live with more balance, take your career to the next step and build strategies to work with your brain rather than against it.
If you’ve arrived at this page, I imagine you’ve had an ADHD diagnosis or are coming to realise that you have ADHD. Regardless you where you are at it’s hard navigating a world built for “normal” minds.
But you don’t have to do it alone. This is a moment to work out your experience and bring clarity to your ADHD brain.
What it’s like working with me
People describe me as calm, supportive, and genuinely curious with a refreshingly direct straight-talking style. Someone they can think things through with, who listens with intent and understands what you're going through.
My style is direct and supportive, honest and calm. I've got a knack for asking the right question that gets to the heart of what's going on.
No corporate jargon or coachy fluff.
I bring 12 years of corporate strategy experience and over 2,000 hours of coaching to every session, sharing practical tools and frameworks from the gold standard of ADHD training at GoldMind Academy, plus the accountability needed to make changes stick.
We can work in lots of different ways but people typically explore these 3 areas:
Living with your ADHD
Gain clarity on how you're wired, drop the mask, silence the inner critic and build your own toolbox of strategies to work with your ADHD brain. You’ll understand your ADHD experience, identify ways to work with your executive function challenges and arm yourself with the actions to work with your ADHD on purpose.
Work and your ADHD
Navigating the world of work as neurodivergent professional can feel isolating. You don’t have to work it out alone. Together we’ll explore practical strategies, workplace insight, and tailored support, so you can play to your strengths and find a better work/life balance so you can show up authentically, without the mask.
ADHD Career Changers
We’ll work to help you understand your ADHD and how this unique wiring shows in your career. I’ll help you to build a sustainable career that is truly energising, identify what success really means on your terms and, explore your skills and to build a career that allows you to perform at your authentic best. No more chaos, uncertainty or burnout.
Wondering how coaching actually works? Here’s how we’ll do it.
The sessions will be a mixture of formats. Sometimes exploring concepts. Sometimes working through exercises. Sometimes focused on what is getting in your way.
We'll start by unpacking how ADHD shows up for you, using models and frameworks to help you understand it with clarity and intention. Then we'll work out the practical things you can do to leverage your ADHD on purpose.
I bring the structure and novelty needed so these aren't just nice conversations, they're transformational in helping you manage your ADHD in the long term. The more you lean in, the more you’ll get out of it.
